Hi, I am from southwest Ohio. I am Deaf but I grew up using spoken language, hearing aids, and reading lips. I started learning ASL my sophomore year of high school. I have always enjoyed the various aspects of the deaf community, its rich culture and language. Currently, I am living in southeast Ohio. I have lived in multiple cities while completing my undergrad degree in for Deaf Studies at Gallaudet University and my Masters Degree in Social Work at University of Cincinnati. My diverse experiences in the Deaf community and the social Work community has motivated me to teach ASL to students in hopes to bridge gaps between the hearing and deaf communities.
