Bonjour! My name is Ashlie Stephenson, and I teach French at LanguageBird. I live in Utah with my husband and daughter. I spent a year and a half living in France and immersing myself in the beautiful language and culture. Each region of France is unique from the others, and I was fortunate to live in three different regions—Pays de la Loire, Hauts-de-France, and Île-de-France. While I was there, I made it my goal to not live as an American tourist, but instead as a true Française, and I learned to appreciate the French way of life. Since that experience, I have continued to study this beautiful language. While obtaining my degree at Brigham Young University, I taught an online French course to fellow students and had so much fun sharing my love of French with them. I received my minor in French. I am excited to be your instructor and to help you on your journey of learning the French language!
