Greetings! I am from Wisconsin and am hard of hearing. Growing up, I used sign language interpreters in my classes and used American Sign Language (ASL) with my family. Both my brother and great uncle are deaf. I played 4 years of NCAA Division 2 basketball in Minnesota and taught internationally after I graduated from college. I taught Health and Physical Education in Nigeria and Costa Rica. I am currently in my 5th year as an educator and have taught ASL as well. A passionate, flexible, and easy-going teacher, I am excited to share my knowledge and passion for ASL and help students learn this incredible language.
