My name is Fabiola Teruel and I am from Guatemala, Central America.  After graduating from high school in Guatemala, I enrolled in Boise State University in Idaho where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Secondary Education.  I taught Spanish in high school for three years and then I came back to Guatemala to teach English in a private American school for six years. 

Nowadays I am a stay at home mom and online Spanish instructor for Language Bird.

My preferred method of teaching is the communicative approach. As a Spanish teacher, I love to create fun and interactive activities that will allow the student to practice the target language as much as possible. My main goal is to motivate the student to use the language in order to be able to communicate in real life situations.
