Hello! My name is Javier and I am from the United States, specifically Boston, MA. I graduated from Bridgewater State University with a bachelor’s in communication. All my life I grew up using American Sign Language or ASL as the primary language in my household. The reason I learned ASL is because both my parents are Deaf, so it was my first language. I’ve been signing before I could speak at the age of 2. Currently, I am living in Antigua, Guatemala where my parents are from. I am a professional and motivated teacher, flexible, patient, and easy-going. I have been teaching ASL for the past 4 years in person and online. I am very much looking forward to sharing my enthusiasm for ASL with you and helping you sign fluently and most importantly, that you enjoy and have fun in the process of learning the beautiful language that I have been lucky enough to learn.
