Bonjour! My name is Julie and I´m a native French speaker from Belgium. I obtained a Masters Degree in Performing Arts at the University of Brussels as well as a Bachelor Degree in Communication and Journalism. Since I left Belgium for America in 2012, my desire to share my language and culture has become a priority. I’m currently living in Virginia where I have been working with the Alliance française, teaching and spreading the French language and culture through Online and in person classes as well as fun events and meetings. When I´m not busy spreading my French knowledge around, I love to draw and paint, play music and enjoy outdoor activities with my family. My teaching philosophy is “if you don’t have fun learning, you are not  learning properly!”. I like to adapt my classes to each student’s personality, goals and performance. I often try to include fun games, interactive quizzes and authentic material to my lessons, so it’s never boring!
