Stacy D. is the Partnerships and Business Development Manager at LanguageBird, where she supports schools and organizations to provide personalized, immersive, one-to-one world language instruction and cultural appreciation to middle and high school students and global citizens of all ages. She brings over 10 years of experience in higher education publishing sales – specifically in World Languages and the Humanities. In that role, she helped faculty and administrators select courseware and pedagogical materials aligned with the curriculum and student needs. As the daughter of a former teacher, she recognizes that teachers are the under-heralded heroes in helping students find their passion and voice. Stacy holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN, and an MBA in Marketing from Baruch College/Zicklin School of Business in New York City.

Outside of work, Stacy enjoys cooking, studying world history, and traveling with friends and family. Stacy resides in the Indianapolis metropolitan area.
